DOGS, CATS, and other SMALL ANIMALS

Base rate for one 30-minute visit is $20 for one dog or cat if distance to your home is up to 10 miles.

Fifteen-minute potty breaks / walks are $15.
each additional dog or cat.......add $2/visit

birds, fish, other small animals:........add $2/visit

over 10 up to 15 miles:......add $3/visit over 15 miles:........add $5/visit

BARN ANIMALS

Base rate per visit is $30 for one barn animal; add $5 for each additional barn animal.

(Includes turning in, turning out, feeding, water, and mucking & hosing stalls.)

HORSES

Base rate per visit is $40 for one horse; add $10 for each additional horse.

(Includes turning in, turning out, feeding, water, and mucking stalls. Gooming and exercise if time permits or is requested.)

Medical Attention

There is no additional charge for administering pills or insulin injections during a pet-sitting assignment. However, one visit for the sole purpose of administering medications or insulin injections is $15.
Administering sub-Q fluids is billed for an additional $5 or more, depending on the time required.

Emergencies

Although we are trained in pet first aid and emergency, there may be times when your pet requires a trip to your veterinarian. Or a trip to the grocery store or pharmacy needs to be made. Extra time spent managing emergency or clean-up regarding pets or home (trips to the vet, trips for groceries or supplies, cleaning up excessive pet messes) is billed at $25/hour.

Miscellaneous

The following conditions may incur additional charges, as they usually require extended time beyond the 30-minute visit. This will be discussed during our Meet & Greet:
if you have a large number of dogs that need care, i.e., a kennel.if cages, kennels, and the like need to be cleaned.if a large number of outdoor plants need to be watered. (Please provide easy access to water.)

Holidays

On Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve , and New Year's Day, a Holiday surcharge of $7 per visit is assessed. The remaining holidays are billed at the normal rate as quoted during our Meet & Greet.
